At Novem, every garment is produced individually with precision and care by our production partner, Dayang Group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of made-to-measure garments, based in Dalian, China. Established in 1979 by visionary female entrepreneur Li Guilian, Dayang began as a small tailoring workshop and has since grown into a company with decades of expertise in suiting and precision tailoring.

Today more than 45% of its senior management roles are held by women, including the Chairwoman, the CEO and the most senior factory manager. We are proud to work with Dayang because their commitment to responsible production aligns closely with our values. Every garment is produced only when commissioned, made specifically for you, avoiding unnecessary stock and reducing waste.

Dayang holds WRAP Gold certification, the highest level awarded by the world's largest independent certification programme for apparel manufacturing, alongside SA8000 for social accountability, ISO 9001 for quality, and ISO 14001 for environmental management. Beyond certification, employees have access to subsidised housing, on-site health centres and kindergartens, and free annual health screening for women. Solar energy has supplied more than 30% of the factory's power since 2017.
